  Firm History

The Di Nicola name has been associated with the practice of law in Salem County and South Jersey since the late 1930's. The current firm of DiNicola & DiNicola was established in June, 1978 by Joseph M. DiNicola, Of Counsel and Patricia A. DiNicola (retired).   The first eight years of practice had a heavy emphasis on public employment, including representation by the firm and/or its current or former partners as solicitor for Carneys Point Township Committee, Sewerage Authority, Housing Authority, Planning Board, Zoning Board and Municipal Judgeship; Penns Grove Municipal Judgeship; Township of Pennsville Planning Board and Zoning Board; City of Salem Housing Authority, Community Development Agency, Port Authority, Planning Board, Salem County Utilities Authority, Mosquito Commission and Improvement Authority;  Lower Alloways Creek Municipal Prosecutor.  The firm thereafter directed its attention and emphasis away from public employment and established a strong commitment to representation of private new clients and their relationships with both local, county and state agencies.  In addition to this, the firm has also maintained an active real estate, commercial and corporate practice.  The corporate practice has included representation of clients including E.I. duPont de Nemours & Company, The Chemours Company, the U.S. Generating Company and Chambers Cogeneration Limited Partnership, Pilot Oil Corporation and several national relocation real estate firms.

Present Firm Activity

The firm currently divides its time between the continuation of private real estate, commercial, corporate and Land Use/Zonong practice and new engagement with public clients including serving as, attorney for three Planning Boards in Salem County and attorney for one Salem County municipality.
