Our history

The DiNicola name has been associated with the practice of law in Salem County since the 1930's.  The present firm was started in June of 1978.  The first eight years of practice had a heavy emphasis on public employment, including representation by the firm and/or its current or former partners as attorney for the Carneys Point Township Committee, Sewerage Authority, Housing Authority, Planning Board, Zoning Board, the Township of Pennsville Planning Board and Zoning Board, the City of Salem Housing Authority, Community Development Agency, Port Authority, Planning Board, the Salem County Utilities Authority, Mosquito Commission and Improvement Authority.  Joseph M. DiNicola served as the Municipal Prosecutor in Lower Alloways Creek Township and Municipal Court Judge in Carneys Point Township and the Borough of Penns Grove. Joseph M. DiNicola, Jr. served as Municipal Prosecutor on Franklin Township and as Labor Counsel for Salem County.

Since then the firm has directed its attention and emphasis away from public employment and has established a strong commitment to the representation of private clients and their relationship with local, county and state agencies.  The firm currently represents the interests of such large business entities as the Chemours Chambers Works and national real estate relocation companies.  The firm also represents the interest of over 100 area businesses.
